Whilst SuperCare has helped countless Australians apply for the Early Release of their Superannuation to pay for their own or an eligible family member’s Dental surgery – many in the community are still not aware of this Payment Option.

Who Can Use This Payment Option:
  • Does not have the relevant, or sufficient, private health insurance
  • May not have access to sufficient, available funds
  • Does have one member with Superannuation funds

8 STEPS TO PROCESS YOUR APPLICATION

The SuperCare application process is seamless and allows the patient to commence their required treatment expeditiously. The ATO conducts the final assessment of each Application, which not only decides whether the Application is Approved or not but also provides a final audit of the SuperCare process.

  1. The clinic sends the patient’s details to SuperCare via the online referral form
  2. A SuperCare consultant contacts the patient and discusses the eligibility
  3. The patient is signed on as a SuperCare client and begins the Compassionate Release of Super (CRS) application process
  4. SuperCare contacts the clinic and requests the required support letter for the CRS claim
  5. GP signs the CRS form
  6. The application is reviewed and lodged with the ATO
  7. Standard assessment takes up to 10 business days from lodgment
  8. When your application gets approved, practice notified and Super will be released in 5-7 business days

Yes, your family dentist can perform your treatment as you desire or any dentist you wish.

How much of my super can I use?

You can use as much or as little as required to treat your dental condition.

Can I get more super funds for my dental treatment?

Yes, you can reapply for the remaining funds required for your treatment.
